Case study: AL-KO Toughest Tow Test

AL-KO’s Toughest Tow Test was born from the desire to showcase the towing capability of both the AL-KO components and the vans that have them fitted in real world conditions. The aim was to show authentic on-road and off-road tests, educate consumers and build product awareness through the creation of inspiring, video-led content to inform customers about towing, empowering them to embark on their own adventures.

Leveraging Adventure's expertise in content creation and AL-KO’s expertise in running gear, we built a trip that showcased beautiful tough towing destinations, colourful characters and, of course, industry-leading products. Using vans fitted with the right running gear and an army of technical experts the products were taken over some of the toughest terrain imaginable to demonstrate the stability and capability of AL-KO products in real world scenarios.

The Toughest Tow Test also allowed manufacturer partners of AL-KO to come along for the experience and created a great opportunity for the businesses to form stronger working relationships over a camp fire, with the picturesque high country as the backdrop.
